From Sharm El Sheikh: Luxor By Air

Luxor by Air for a day to see its most famous landmarks. Visit Karnak Temple on the east bank and see the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple on the west bank before returning to Sharm later that evening.

Full Description Excursions to Luxor by Air:

Your tour will start around 4:00 AM. You will be met at the reception. You will then be transferred to Sharm El Sheikh Airport and transferred to your morning flight to Luxor. Just a 50-minute flight from Sharm and you will be in Luxor.

First, we’ll go to the West Bank

It is known as the city of the dead and is the burial complex of the ancient Egyptians. We will visit the Valley of the Kings – the ancient cemetery of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, hidden in the mountains between the two limestone hills of Gurna.

Then we will visit the Hatshepsut temple

Hatshepsut was a famous female pharaoh who wore a false beard and all the trappings of male pharaohs in order to claim the throne for herself.

Then we will visit the statues of Memnon.

These are the only surviving statues facing the funeral temple of Amenhotep III and depicting a pharaoh seated on a throne.

We will continue across the Nile to the East Bank for lunch at Maro Restaurant (drinks not included).

Our last stop on this tour is the Karnak Temples

Meanwhile, it is the largest ancient temple complex in Egypt. The Karnak temple complex is one of the main sites of Egypt, and within its boundaries you can still feel the sacred energy of Ancient Egypt. We will also see the Luxor Temple known as the Temple of the Gods.

We will then return to the airport for our return flight to Sharm, which will arrive in Sharm around 20:00 (depending on flight schedule).
